How It Started....

From a Desperate Prayer....

On the drive home, I happened to hear something about faceless YouTube channels, and a small spark lit inside me. I did not know much about creating online content, but I do know how to learn. So I decided to try. One of the very first prayers I uploaded was a prayer to St. Jude, the patron of impossible causes.

Slowly, the channel began to grow. Then came the prayer requests from people around the world. So many hearts crying out to God. It moved me deeply, and something inside me began to shift. I found myself praying less for my own needs and more for others. The Prayerful Path was no longer just a project. It became a mission.

I can still remember the day the channel was first monetized. It felt like God’s quiet confirmation: “Keep going.”

When the first Super Thanks came in from someone named Edith, I was overcome with gratitude. In that moment, an image of St. Jude popped up in my mind as if he was gently reminding me, “Remember me?”

I had hoped that the income from YouTube would help sustain me and my family, especially as the channel grew and our needs became greater. Like many creators and ministries, I believed it could be a way to keep serving while also supporting the life behind the mission.

But recently, we faced a painful challenge. YouTube removed our monetization, saying our content was “inauthentic” or “repetitive.” That truly hurt. Yet as I sat in prayer, God gave me clarity.

Yes, our prayers are repetitive. The Rosary, the Divine Mercy Chaplet, and so many of our devotions are built on sacred repetition. Each repeated prayer is like the steady beat of a heart, a continual offering of love, trust, and surrender to God.
That is not inauthentic. That is prayer as it has been lived by the faithful for centuries.

The journey has not always been easy, but the mission has never wavered. Now we are standing on the doorstep of 10,000 subscribers, and my heart is full of gratitude. What began as a simple prayer in an empty church has grown into a global community of faith and intercession.

I never could have imagined what The Prayerful Path would become. This journey began in the most unexpected way, during one of the hardest seasons of my life.

I remember that day so clearly. I was driving home from a long work trip, feeling tired and uncertain about what direction God wanted me to take. Along the way, I passed a small church called St. Jude’s. For reasons I still cannot explain, I pulled over, walked inside, and sat quietly in one of the pews. I whispered a simple prayer from the depths of my heart:
“Lord, are You even listening?”
